Green for Sustainability Initiative Trust (GSI Trust) is a youth-centric, youth-serving non-profit social investment organization created in 2024 to promote local entrepreneurship, climate-friendly business development, sustainable cities and communities, and participatory local economic development. To promote, facilitate and advocate for youth empowerment and the development of the green industry while supporting local ideas, knowledge, solutions and innovations for local economic growth and sustainable development
We strive to see empowered youths and communities equipped with sufficient information, knowledge, resources and skills to drive and sustain their local economic growth through available local natural resources
To enhance youth access to information, skills, knowledge and resources for fair community trade and socioeconomic investment aimed at promoting green development through research, innovation, entrepreneurship, skills building, knowledge exchange and participatory development
GSI Trust was founded facilitates, support and strengthens the creation of sustainable on- and off-farm businesses which are self-sustained through available local natural resources within the rural and peri-urban communities.
We also promote the development of the green industry whilst supporting smallholder farmers in agricultural and forest land, growers, innovators and entrepreneurs so that they can fulfill their vision of local economic growth, profitability and realize the power of social investment in transforming their communities.

We utilize the power of digital technologies and social media to disseminate information to various primary and secondary stakeholders as well as to safeguard the fundamental human rights, land rights, environmental rights and health rights of local communities.

We work with local communities to promote value addition and new product development as a basis for maximizing profitability and incomes.
